Secure passwords for banking

Sicherheitab 9 J.
How to protect your online banking: strong passwords, two-factor authentication, no public Wi-Fi and spotting phishing.
🇩🇪 The detailed explanation is only available in German so far – help translate it!

So schützt du dein Online-Banking:

1. Starkes Passwort: Mindestens 12 Zeichen, Groß/Klein, Zahlen, Sonderzeichen. Nutze einen Passwort-Manager (Bitwarden, 1Password)

4. Kein öffentliches WLAN: Keine Banking-Transaktionen in Cafés, Hotels oder Flughäfen. Nutze mobile Daten

5. Regelmäßig prüfen: Kontobewegungen mindestens wöchentlich checken

Did you know? The most commonly used password in Germany is still “123456”. A password manager costs €0–3/month and protects all your accounts.
