Piggy bank

Sparenab 5 J.
A container for collecting coins and notes. For many children, the piggy bank is their first contact with saving.

Did you know? Why a pig of all things? In the Middle Ages, pots were made from a cheap type of clay called “pygg”. At some point English potters confused “pygg” with “pig” – and actually shaped the money boxes like pigs.
