Calculating your pension gap

Versicherungab 13 J.
How to calculate how much money you'll be short in old age – and how much you need to save each month to close the gap.
🇩🇪 The detailed explanation is only available in German so far – help translate it!

Schritt 1: Wie viel brauchst du? Faustregel: 80% deines aktuellen Nettoeinkommens. Bei 2.500€ netto = 2.000€ Bedarf im Alter.

Schritt 2: Wie viel bekommst du? Prüfe deine Renteninformation (kommt jährlich per Post). Dort steht deine voraussichtliche Rente. Typisch: 1.200–1.600€ brutto.

Did you know? Most Germans dramatically overestimate their pension: the gross amount on the pension statement still has to be adjusted for taxes (~15%), health insurance (~8%) and inflation.
