Commodity investments

InvestierenErwachsene
Oil, gold, silver, copper, wheat as investments: via an ETC (exchange traded commodity) or commodity ETF. Partly protects against inflation, but highly volatile. Max. 5–10% of your portfolio.
🇩🇪 The detailed explanation is only available in German so far – help translate it!

Rohstoff-Investments ermöglichen es, in physische Grundstoffe zu investieren – ohne Barren oder Fässer lagern zu müssen.

Arten:

• Edelmetalle: Gold, Silber, Platin (Inflationsschutz, „Safe Haven“)
• Energie: Öl, Gas (konjunkturabhängig)
• Industriemetalle: Kupfer, Lithium, Nickel (Elektromobilität!)
• Agrar: Weizen, Mais, Kaffee, Zucker (ethisch umstritten als Spekulation)

Wie investieren?

• Gold-ETC: Xetra-Gold (physisch hinterlegt, steuerfrei nach 1 Jahr)
• Rohstoff-ETF: z.B. Bloomberg Commodity Index (breit gestreut)
• Rohstoff-Aktien: BHP, Rio Tinto, Barrick Gold (indirekt über Minenunternehmen)

Pro & Contra:

✅ Inflationsschutz, Diversifikation, Krisenwährung (Gold)
❌ Keine Zinsen/Dividenden, hohe Schwankungen, komplexe Steuer (außer Gold-ETC)

Empfehlung: Max. 5–10% des Portfolios. Gold als ETC ist die einfachste und sinnvollste Beimischung.

Did you know? All the gold in the world would fit into a cube with sides of about 22 metres – and would be worth more than $13 trillion.
