Stop-loss

BörseErwachsene
An automatic sell order triggered when the price falls below a certain level. Protects against big losses – like an emergency brake.
🇩🇪 The detailed explanation is only available in German so far – help translate it!

Wichtig: Bei ETF-Sparplänen (langfristig, Buy and Hold) braucht man normalerweise KEINEN Stop-Loss.

Did you know? With price gaps, a stop-loss becomes a problem: if a share falls overnight from €100 to €80, a stop at €90 is executed at the next available price – i.e. at €80.
