Maintenance obligation

Rechtab 13 J.
Parents must provide maintenance for their children (also after separation). In Germany the amount follows the Düsseldorf Table: €437–1,059/month depending on age and income.
🇩🇪 The detailed explanation is only available in German so far – help translate it!

Did you know? Germany has about 2.7 million single parents. One in three receives no or only irregular maintenance from the other parent. The state steps in with an advance maintenance payment (max. €484/month).
