Balance of payments

InternationalErwachsene
A statement of all a country's economic transactions with the rest of the world: exports, imports, capital flows. Germany traditionally has a surplus (export champion).
🇩🇪 The detailed explanation is only available in German so far – help translate it!

Did you know? In 2024 Germany had a current account surplus of more than €260 billion – among the highest in the world. That means Germany earns €260 billion more abroad than it spends there.
