Supplementary dental insurance

Versicherungab 9 J.
Germany's statutory health insurance pays only 60–75% of standard dental care. For crowns, implants or ceramics you pay hundreds to thousands of euros yourself – unless you have supplementary dental insurance.

Die Zahnzusatzversicherung deckt Zahnarztkosten ab, die die gesetzliche Krankenkasse nicht übernimmt.

Was zahlt die GKV?

Was übernimmt die Zahnzusatzversicherung?

• Zahnersatz (Kronen, Brücken, Implantate): 80–100% Erstattung
• Professionelle Zahnreinigung: 1–2x pro Jahr
• Hochwertige Füllungen (Keramik statt Amalgam)
• Kieferorthopädie (für Kinder besonders sinnvoll)

Kosten: 10–40€/Monat (je nach Alter und Leistung). Je jünger du einsteigst, desto günstiger. Wartezeit: Meist 8 Monate für Zahnersatz.

Did you know? A single dental implant costs €1,500–3,500 in Germany. Statutory insurance pays only about €400 as a fixed subsidy. Without supplementary dental insurance, you're left with €1,100–3,100.
